The Runfortheroses partnership's Cloudy Rose won her third race in just over six weeks when returning to Brighton to land her hat-trick in the hands of Adam Farragher.
Her three wins have all been over a mile and a half and on a range of ground, from good to firm and Tuesday night's soft after a deluge hit Brighton earlier that day. It has been wonderful to see her growing in confidence with each success. Now that Cloudy Rose is five she is stronger and able to keep pace at this distance, which she hadn't been able to do as a younger horse.
We are delighted for all her owners in the syndicate and for her breeders Roger and Maggie Vicarage and Richard Kent.
The action continues for the stable this week with Superluminal at Kempton on Thursday for his first start in a handicap after his good second-place finish last time at Windsor. On Friday, Merrijig is declared at Goodwood in the 1m6f maiden, and we hope that Duchess will head to Redcar on Saturday.
